Ch. Legacy's Kaleidoscope (OFA Good, Optigen A, FN normal)"Henry" is a blue roan and tan dog of moderate height and exquisite bone. His breeder, Deborah Shepherd (Legacy English Cocker Spaniels) has been selectively breeding ECS for over forty years, beginning with her parents' breeding program which was handed down to her through the orange roan bitch, Ch. Debron Date with an Angel, (aka "Margaret.)With a vision of her "perfect" English cocker spaniel in mind, Deborah searched for the perfect mate for "Margaret." She found him in the Norwegian imported dog, Ch. Travis Fool For You. When Deb bred Margaret to Travis, "Henry" was the end result. Today, Henry is 1/3rd of a point away from his English Cocker of Merit title. He consistently transmits his beautiful breed type, solid bone, smooth shoulders, happy, relaxed temperament and his melting expression. His children have excelled as conformation champions, obedience and agility stars and of course as sires and dams of champion English Cocker Spaniels. | |
| In the summer of 2009, Smithwood Silly Love Song was bred to Henry. On August 24th, four babies were born. Three gorgeous blue roan and tan boys and one orange roan girl are growing up at Deborah Shepherd's home of Legacy English Cocker Spaniels. To see those babies, please click here | |
