Dear Prudence of SmithwoodPrudence is our "Resident bad dog". A very typical ECS bitch she thinks she walks on water and can do no wrong. Prudence came to us when she was a tiny baby. We had lost our old ECS and our hearts were breaking. We didn't have time to wait, we had to get something right NOW. Was it luck, coincidence or was God intervening? Prudence was conceived on the very day our old "Millicent" was put to sleep. Although we did not choose a "show dog" when we chose Prudence, she has a good, classic pedigree going back to some very good animals. She is a nice square-bodied dog that is up on leg. She is a gifted mover. Prudence is incredibly smart and is well trained, despite her belief that she can do whatever she wants and does not have to listen to a thing we say. She loves bird work and is our constant companion.We are very proud of her accomplishment in the whelping box - (a top producer of champion ECS for 2007). Karen Miller of Loujon fame was the one to suggest we breed her to Bernie. Thank God we did! Prudence is 15.5 inches tall.
