Welcome to the Non-stop Dog and Pony showWhere pups and ponies are a consuming passion.We are Kerrin and Dale Churchill.As a profession, we take photographs of and write stories about purebred dogs and horses. Besides our craft, our passion is for Welsh Ponies and English Cocker Spaniels and we have a small breeding/showing operation just south of Cleveland, Ohio. When we are not taking pictures or writing, we are training ponies on the flat for both hunters and carriage work. Our ponies live on our farm and we are deeply involved with them. During the spring and summer, we can be found at pleasure driving events and purebred shows. In the winter, we enjoy sleigh riding. As a teenager I (Kerrin) worked with Appaloosa horses, learning to ride on early Reining champion stallions(now considered "Foundation Apps" such as Dun Roven Chel-C, Mescalaro Apache and Abdull's Margaret. Later, I worked on racetracks in Kentucky and in Ohio. My early mentors included Thoroughbred trainers Mary Hurley, Woody Stephens, Sam Ramer and Tommy Stevens. Growing up in dogs, I was deeply involved, showing, raising, breeding and hunting with our family's German Shorthairs. I also dreamed of the day I could get started with what I considered "God's most perfect breed" - the ECS - a dream that thanks to my husband's help, has been made possible. In addition to the ponies, we hold English Cockers dear to our hearts. All of our dogs are house pets first, show dogs second. We believe in the total ECS and train for field work. In our dogs we desire correct, classic breed type as described by the AKC/ECSCA breed standard. We love elegance with much bone, thick well-made feet and substance. Obviously, we live and breathe our animals.
